For your final exam, you will create a portfolio website. As an artist, it is important to assemble and maintain a body of work as it can make a big impact when applying to schools, interviewing for jobs, and networking in various creative industries.
You can use any platform to create your portfolio (Wix, Weebly, Wordpress, etc.) You will include 3 pages:
List of Projects: Place all works in a gallery, slideshow or in separate image elements on your Gallery page. For each project listed below, you must include a .jpg copy. I am looking for effective layout and organization of work.

You must include an artist statement, and written reflection on your art portfolio.
You are expected to include the writing on your Statement page. You may want to include a professional/artistic photo of yourself on the page as well. The following questions are meant to serve as a guide to create 2-3 paragraphs (5-8 sentences in length). Graphic Art 1 Experience:

Sometimes the best way to learn how NOT to do something, is to look at others mistakes.
Google examples of poor Kerning or Tracking - look at examples - (try not to laugh or be shocked.) take a screenshot of an example that is not too offensive for me to see, and move into the document and use in your explanation.

- CLOSE UP- just the head & shoulders; even closer, just the face
- FULL PROFILE- from the head to the toes, make sure it’s all in the frame
- EMOTION- happy, sad, thinking, serious...how does your environment set the mood?
- MEMORABLE SETTINGS - Think of a specific location around school grounds that means something you. What kinds of memories does this place bring up? How might you depict your perspective of this place?
- PHOTOGRAPHER’S CHOICE- up to you, get creative!
